Hi Yutaro, I enjoyed your presentation. Since I didn't know much about VF, it was a nice opportunity to learn. However, my image toward VF is quite good because it may be the solution for food shortage. If the cost gets lower, introducing it to countries that are suffering from hunger could help many people. As mentioned in class, there are also arguable points of VF, but I think more good vision could be seen ahead.

I think it is really great technology because we can control the growth of the vegetable, so that it is possible to adjust the market demands. And also, there will be no more import vegetable even in places like desert. However, the problem is, as you mentioned in the class, the CO2. Since many developed countries are making effort to reduce it currently, it is difficult to introduce and spread the vegetable factory unless it solves the problems of CO2. In addition, farmers will lose jobs when vegetable factories become popular. But otherwise, it will be quite helpful for consumers to buy sustainably provided vegetables that never be influenced by climates.
Thanks for your presentation. It made me guess how food will become in the future. I thought like a great deal of veges and meat will be produced artificially in mechanized ways. I have positive view to the vegetable factory because it helps to produce vegetable almost anywhere in the world. Yield of vegetable depends on nature conditions such as soil of a land, temperature and so on. And it makes people in some places difficult to get enough vegetable, besides, world population is estimated to grow so rapidly that we cannot afford it. So, I think now there are some problems with it though, the vegetable factory will become a solution for it.

I think it is great technology which can overcome defects of the agriculture. However, VF have to use a lot of cost. Many consumers usually want to buy cheaper foods. I also feel that VF is not effective in food shortage because it can only cultivate leaf vegetables not main dish such as wheat. For these reasons, VF need to improve cost performance and variety of vegetables.

Well, I think this is okay but I can't say it is very good, or very bad. Of course there's tons of merits for this, I simply cannot quit thinking about the farmers. If these will increase, we would not need farmers any more. Thinking of there effort towards making vegetables, I feel so sorry for them. However, it is sure that this is a big reform and hoping for the big growth.
